Culinary Arts Instructor (Part-Time) Share Your Passion for Food and Help Others Grow! STEP is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Culinary Arts Instructor to lead hands-on culinary learning experiences while fostering confidence, independence, and creativity in the kitchen. About the Role

• Teach participants meal planning, grocery shopping, recipe reading, knife skills, food safety, and kitchen organization.
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• A mobile role with movement around Wayne County but with a M-F schedule What You Will Do
• Teach food safety, nutrition, allergen awareness, and cooking techniques.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food quality standards.
• Assist with purchasing ingredients and managing supplies.
• Collaborate with participants and staff on menus and lessons.
• Participate in community outings, gardening activities, catering events, and more! Qualifications
• 2-5 years of experience in food service, hospitality, or culinary arts.
• Valid or previously held ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
• ServSafe Manager Certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid Michigan Driver License.
• Ability to pass background check and meet insurance requirements.

Pay:

From $18.50 per hour Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
