We are seeking a passionate Early Education Teacher to join our team at Lightbridge Academy of Durham. In this role, you will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, fostering their curiosity and love for learning. Your contributions will be vital in helping us continue to provide outstanding educational experiences. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. Manage classroom activities effectively to create a positive learning environment. Foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth through engaging activities and our STRIVE for 5 resources. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development. Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational program. Requirements Highschool diploma Credentials in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Experience working with young children in an educational setting is essential. Strong classroom management skills to maintain a productive learning environment. Knowledge of literacy education practices is highly desirable. Ability to implement engaging lesson plans tailored to children's needs.
