JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
MCC's Continuing Education Division College for Kids and Teens is seeking enthusiastic and experienced non-credit instructors with teaching experience to lead engaging, skill-based, or enrichment classes for children and teens. This position will have various teaching opportunities throughout the year and will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging, practical course content and activities that enhances students' personal growth and enriches their lives. Provide children and teens with a unique and enriching educational experience that combines learning and creativity in a vibrant and supportive environment.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
Design and deliver engaging lessons and activities for children and teens. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Conduct interactive classroom sessions in the following areas that include Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Arts, Music, Dance, Acting, Fitness, and other enrichment opportunities. Track attendance and submit required paperwork. Encourage creativity and critical thinking. Inspire a love for learning in your students.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Teaching experience working with children and teens. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Creativity and enthusiasm for teaching. Ability to deliver engaging and practical course content. Dedication to creating a safe and inclusive learning space. Demonstrable knowledge of Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office or any other workplace technology.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or in-progress) Passion for teaching and a commitment to helping others achieve personal growth and enrichment. This position will have random teaching opportunities throughout the year. MCC holds classes at multiple locations throughout the Metro area including Fremont and Blair.
