Gen Ed Teacher - Chester, Pennsylvania Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Chester, PA Job Details Full-time | Contract 4 days ago Qualifications Behavior management Bachelor's degree Teaching assessments Student engagement classroom management Full Job Description Step into an impactful teaching opportunity shaping high school students' growth in a dynamic school community located near Chester, PA. This is a full-time, contract position with two openings available for skilled educators to deliver high school math instruction in a supportive, onsite environment. The assignment runs from now through June 10, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 35 hours, working onsite between 8:30 AM and 4 PM. Leverage your mastery of math content, lesson planning, and differentiated instruction to inspire success among general education students. You may also encounter a mixture of special education students, who will have designated special education professionals providing direct support.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required (to qualify for emergency teaching permit) Active Pennsylvania teaching certification/licensure for assigned caseload Completion of all Pennsylvania clearances prior to the start date Prior experience working in a school setting, preferably in an urban environment Reliable transportation for daily onsite attendance Strong classroom and behavior management skills; comfortable handling a range of student needs and backgrounds Proficient in creating lessons based on state and district standards, incorporating formative assessments and differentiation Willingness to build rapport and maintain professionalism within district expectations Availability to work the full onsite schedule without accommodations
