Educational Funding Specialist (Financial Aid Representative) - Help Students Access Opportunity Are you detail-oriented, service-driven, and motivated by helping others navigate important financial decisions? What You ll Be Doing As an Educational Funding Specialist, you will guide students and families through the financial aid process while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner collaboratively with the recruitment team to support enrollment goals and provide expert financial aid guidance to prospective students. Deliver personalized consultations to prospective and continuing students (and their families), clearly explaining funding options and simplifying the financial aid process from start to finish. Accurately evaluate, package, and award financial aid; conduct verifications; and proactively resolve discrepancies to ensure compliance and a seamless student experience. Support a collaborative campus enrollment management model by providing strategic Educational Funding expertise that promotes student persistence and success. Provide exceptional, student-focused service, building trust and maintaining strong relationships throughout the student lifecycle.Minimum Requirements Required:
2+ years related work experience Working knowledge of financial aid process and procedures Knowledge of current regulations and pertinent to the release of student information Ability to recognize and maintain the confidential of records concerning the personal finances of financial aid applicants Computer skills and the ability to use common software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Must be highly organized and know how to prioritize workflowPreferred:
Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field Prior financial aid experience Why Work With Us?
