Job Description
This job conducts and prepares patients for routine Electroneurodiagnostic (END) procedures, including EEG, Evoked Potentials, and specialized studies in the clinical setting. Collects data pertinent to the interpretation of test results and assists medical staff with complex recordings. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Preferred
- Associate's degree or completion of an END Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or completion of a Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) Program accredited by American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) Work Experience Required
- Clinical experience equivalent to 3 or more years training in the field Certifications Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Preferred
- Eligible for Certification in Neurodiagnostic Technology Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
