Election Night Reporter- Alabama

Decision Desk HQ is hiring individuals to relay unofficial election results from Alabama's primary election on May 19th, 2026. Those hired must arrive at their assigned location by 6:45PM and update the results as they come in using our entry system and communications server. This ad specifically is for our hiring in the following communities: Opelika, Greenville, Scottsboro, Elba, Lafayette, Evergreen, Russellville, Moulton, Montgomery, and Wedowee.

Skills Timeliness:

the goal of Decision Desk HQ is to be the first outlet to report results.

Attention to detail:

reporters must be able to enter results accurately.

Communication:

reporters will be able to effectively communicate with election officials while on site. Requirements Must have a smartphone. Must be an existing user of Discord, and willing to add the app to their phone. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be willing to set up an account on Bill.com, to receive electronic payment. Must be able to arrive at a designated location 15 minutes before polls close, and have a reliable motor vehicle for travel to and from their assigned locations. Reporters will be required to attend a brief, online preparatory session as listed in the welcome email. Must attend a brief video interview here on Indeed during the hiring period (May 9th-May 15th). Pay Decision Desk HQ pays $135 flat for the evening's work on 5/19. Estimated shift length is 4 hours per evening. Payment is issued electronically through Bill.com.
