Job Description

Electrical Engineer Intern Location:
Scotts Valley, CA Position Summary Digital Dynamics Inc. (DDI) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. This role offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers to support the design, development, and testing of high-performance electronic control systems. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field), has a strong technical foundation, and is eager to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support the design and development of electrical systems, circuits, and components Assist with testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical hardware and systems Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to support engineering decisions Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineering Document design processes, test procedures, and results clearly and accurately Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in electrical engineering Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher) Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts, circuit design, and lab equipment Experience with relevant tools/software (e.g., MATLAB, LTspice, Altium, or similar) is a plus Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative Why Join DDI?
