Electrician/Field Technician

Petroleum Measurement Equipment Company (PMEC) is seeking a qualified Electrician/Field Technician with a Journeyman's License to perform start up services & new installations of oil & gas equipment at job sites all over the US. This will be a full-time position that will require travel. The pay range will be based on experience & skill level. This position requires experience in the following: Experience in trouble shooting low and medium voltage systems and determining the correct methods to make repairs or adjustments. Experience with installing/repairing low and medium voltage systems that may consist of Electric Motors, Switch Gear, Control Valves, Sensory Instruments, MCC Rooms, VFD, etc. Installing conduit & wiring for hazardous locations. Perform point to point checks & witnessed inspections. Build & install control panels when needed. Read and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications.

Requirements for this position:

Have and maintain a clean DMV driving record. TWIC Card a plus. Maintain a professional appearance and communicate in a professional manner with on-site contacts and third party clients. Be proficient in daily email correspondence with company management. Work overtime and occasional scheduled weekends. This position will be required to travel.
