STARTING SALARY
$54,000
  • $87,600 (depending on experience and education).
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree Meets all Wyoming state teacher certification requirements for content area/assignment Endorsement needed for this position: Elementary Education K-6 (EL0) For more information on Wyoming certification, please visit http://wyomingptsb.com or call 307-777-7291. REPORTS TO
Building Principal
JOB GOAL
The teacher will supervise and instruct all identified Title I individuals placed in his/her educational environment and perform any other duties as permitted by Title I Policy.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
To work cooperatively with the regular classroom teachers of targeted Title I students. To plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students. To create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students. To assess the accomplishments and needs of students on a regular basis, seeking the assistance of appropriate district and Title I personnel as needed. To confer with colleagues, students, and parents on a regular basis and as prescribed by Title I policy. To share responsibility for providing additional educational services for Title I students and parents, including such activities as the Take-Home Computer Program or Math
  • and Geo-Safari.
To assist the administration in implementing all policies and rules influencing students in school, life, and conduct; and, for the classroom, to develop reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintain order in the classroom in a fair and just manner. To assume the teacher's legal responsibilities in the supervision of students. To assume an equitable share of responsibility associated with the teaching profession, which may be assigned by the principal and which may relate to committee work, student supervision, or other planning and professional assignments which fall within Title I and district policy, administrative regulations, and state law. To maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by Title I and district policy, administrative regulations, and state law.

Approximately 185 days; salary and fringe benefits to be set by the Board of Trustees.
