Key Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered care in the emergency department, following established protocols and evidence-based practices Perform assessments, triage patients, and execute swift, accurate nursing interventions during emergencies Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IVs and documentation Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, aftercare, and discharge instructions Maintain a safe environment, ensuring adherence to regulatory and infection control policies Accurately document all care activities and patient outcomes using electronic medical records

Qualifications and Experience:

Active RN license with authorization to practice in the state Minimum one year of recent experience as an RN within an Emergency Room environment Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced scenarios with competing demands Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred
