In this role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety, and lead a team of line cooks to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your expertise in food preparation, menu execution, and kitchen management will be vital in creating memorable meals that delight our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced, fine dining environment while mentoring junior staff and maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead the preparation and cooking of menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail. Supervise and coordinate the activities of line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist in menu planning, ingredient ordering, and inventory management to optimize kitchen efficiency. Train new team members on culinary techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant standards. Collaborate with the head chef to develop innovative dishes that meet quality benchmarks and customer expectations. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality meals during service hours while managing multiple stations effectively. Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry standards. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques. Experience in fine dining establishments or similar upscale settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus. Strong understanding of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and sanitation protocols.
