In this vital role, you will serve as a trusted partner to employees and management, fostering a positive workplace environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and strategic HR initiatives. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with employment laws, enhance employee engagement, and support organizational goals. Responsibilities Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support on workplace concerns, conflicts, and performance matters. Facilitate employee engagement initiatives, including onboarding, orientation sessions, and ongoing communication strategies. Assist in the development and implementation of employee policies, ensuring compliance with employment & labor law regulations such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration). Support talent management processes by participating in employee evaluation cycles, performance management programs, and succession planning efforts. Collaborate with HR teams on benefits administration, HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data entry, and workforce management systems like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors. Contribute to change management projects by helping communicate organizational changes effectively and managing associated employee concerns. Gather data through HR sourcing tools such as Taleo or iCIMS to support recruiting efforts and improve hiring strategies. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; relevant experience may substitute for education. Proven experience in human capital management, employee relations, or HR generalist roles. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, workers' compensation procedures, and OSHA regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully and professionally. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to analyze data collection reports for insights into workforce trends and employee engagement metrics. Organizational skills to manage multiple projects related to training & development, affirmative action planning, and organizational design.
