Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe're looking for a skilled Aviation Civil Engineer to play a key role in designing and developing airfield and municipal project plans. This role will cover a broad range of engineering tasks, including grading, drainage design, pavement structure, utility layouts, stormwater management, quantity estimation, and the preparation of technical specifications and contract documents for projects located across Georgia and Florida. The selected engineer will oversee projects from initial planning through to construction closeout, engaging directly with clients and utilizing the latest engineering tools and software advancements. There may also be opportunities for hands-on resident engineering roles during project construction phases.
Responsibilities:
Create conceptual designs, initial cost projections, and permit applicationsDevelop detailed design documents, construction plans, technical specifications, and project reportsProvide both in-office and on-site construction administration support
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldAcademic experience in civil/infrastructure design, transportation, water resource management, pavement engineering, and construction managementProficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D softwareStrong communication abilitiesEIT certification preferredMust hold a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicleAbility to secure an Airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge, including clearance from a federal background check
