OUR PROJECT
Immediate opportunity to join our team - supporting test engineering of optical sensing spaceflight hardware. The engineer will work directly in the lab to prepare hardware and instrumentation, develop test procedures, support Test Readiness Reviews, execute testing, analyze data, and verify results against program requirements. This is a 12-month contract position that will be onsite in Rochester, NY. You can expect competitive compensation.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a Vibration Test Engineer with strong expertise in assembly, integration, and testing of complex optical sensing spaceflight hardware. The ideal will have experience with vibration testing and structural testing in relation to Aerospace components. TS/SCI is preferred. QUALIFICATIONS
  • Vibration, shock, acoustic, modal, or static-load testing
  • Space-vehicle or large aerospace component testing
  • Hands-on instrumentation experience, hardware setup, and test execution
  • Familiarity with LVDTs, torque tools, ESD-sensitive hardware, or
MIL-STD-810
  • Structural analysis, structural dynamics, or signal processing Effective written and verbal communication skills are absolutely required for this role.
