Senior MBD Engineer

Job Description Summary The Senior MBD Engineer will be responsible for the creation and implementation of model-based solution in our internal and external NPI, LRIP and high-rate sites. You will define parameters and work plans to meet objectives and resolve issues. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Develop strategies that implement model-based manufacturing / model-based enterprise throughout the entire PLM lifecycle Work with our outside software suppliers to enable software enhancements as needed to ensure success. Identify and communicate to leadership schedule pressures and implement plans to mitigate the impact of those pressures on program deliverables. Participate and lead teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives. Share engineering information and promote open dialogue. Support preparation of invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business. Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing) + Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance Deep experience in metrology (7+ years) Desired Characteristics Experience with Process Development and Optimization.
