CitiGreen is a Northern California energy infrastructure company specializing in commercial solar development and project execution. We are seeking an experienced Project Development Manager to lead commercial solar projects while taking an important role in the development of SolarH2, our new solar-powered green hydrogen platform. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows how to move complex projects forward. The right candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients, contractors, engineers, utilities, permitting agencies, inspectors, technical partners, and company leadership. Manage utility interconnection activities and project documentation. Coordinate engineering, project schedules, procurement, subcontractors, inspections, and construction activities. Identify, evaluate, and contract qualified subcontractors and specialty providers. Regularly visit active project sites and maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, and inspectors. Identify project delays and unresolved issues and take an active role in getting them resolved. Help lead development of SolarH2's first solar-powered green hydrogen facility, coordinating technical consultants, engineers, equipment providers, permitting agencies, and contractors. Develop a strong working knowledge of SolarH2 and confidently represent the project in meetings with investors, partners, agencies, and other stakeholders. Maintain accurate schedules, project records, approvals, contracts, plans, correspondence, and closeout documentation. Qualifications Commercial solar experience is strongly preferred. Candidates should have substantial project development, construction management, renewable energy, electrical construction, or comparable energy-infrastructure experience. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, energy, planning, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered. The successful candidate will have strong communication and technology skills, professional confidence, excellent organization and follow-through, and the ability to read and work with construction plans and technical documents. Experience with California permitting, AHJs, inspections, utility interconnection, subcontractor management, land-use approvals, or commercial solar construction is particularly valuable. This position requires someone who is proactive and persistent. When a permit, inspection, utility approval, contractor issue, or other project requirement is holding up progress, we expect our Project Development Manager to determine what is needed and actively work toward a resolution.
