This role will be working with a multidisciplinary team consisting of CAD 3D designers, CAD drafters and BIM specialists, ensuring high-quality, coordinated 3D Models and 2D drawings deliverables across all project phases. The successful candidate will be part of CAD 3D design and drafting team, will integrate 3D Models and drawings using AutoCAD Plant 3D and Revit/BIM platforms, to support efficient, constructible, and compliant project execution. Education Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Associate Degree in Engineering Design, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in CAD design, 3D modelling and drafting of water and wastewater project's systems and components. Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D, BIM and Revit. Solid understanding of mechanical systems, piping design, pipe supports/pipe racks design, cable tray routing, civil outline design in line with project specification requirements. Team work with CAD 3D designers and drafters Problem-solving and constructability focus Preferred Experience coordinating with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, I&C Engineering teams during development of 3D model and drawings creations Experience coordinating with construction teams during installation and commissioning phases. Familiarity with U.S. codes and standards (ASME, ASTM etc.). Strong organizational and communication skills in fast-paced project environments. CAD 3D Designer -Coordination Coordinate closely with mechanical engineers (in-house and external partners) to ensure alignment between engineering intent and 3D design/drafting execution. Serve as the CAD 3D design/drafting interface between engineering disciplines (Process and EICA), project management (including PMO), procurement, and construction teams, as needed. Enforce CAD 3D design/drafting standards, modelling practices, and data management protocols across the project (documents and drawings). Coordinate work execution with outsourced 3D design and drafting teams, ensuring adherence to project standards and schedules. Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and interdisciplinary coordination workshops. CAD 3D Design/Drafting Develop of 3D plant layouts, equipment arrangements, piping models, and associated 2D drawings deliverables. Ensure accurate integration of mechanical, piping, and utility systems within the BIM and AutoCAD Plant 3D environments. Utilize PFD and P&ID as the primary platform for detailed engineering design. Ensure consistency between PFD and P&ID engineering data and 3D/BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. Project Execution & Quality Proceed CAD 3D design and drafting tasks to meet project milestones, budget, and quality requirements through the deliverable lists and schedules Review and approve design 3D models, 2D drawings, for technical accuracy and constructability. -Participate in CAD 3D model coordination, clash detection, and resolution in collaboration with engineering and construction teams. Support constructability reviews, design change management, and field issue resolution during construction.
