Create, Maintain, and Improve Critical Fleet Vehicle Designs as a CAD Drafter!
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to support fleet engineering initiatives through the creation, maintenance, and management of vehicle and equipment designs. This role is ideal for a SolidWorks professional who enjoys working on transportation assets, engineering documentation, and innovative solutions that support fleet operations.

What You'll Do
CAD Design & Engineering Documentation
Develop new and update existing SolidWorks CAD models and drawings for fleet vehicles and equipment.
Revise designs to reflect final as-built configurations after assets enter service.
Create and maintain accurate engineering documentation and drawing packages.
Support development of Engineering Order Documentation for fleet assets.
PDM Administration
Maintain and manage the SolidWorks PDM database.
Ensure drawing revisions, model updates, and engineering records are properly controlled.
Support configuration management and document accuracy throughout the asset lifecycle.
3D Modeling & Rapid Prototyping
Design and modelponents to support fleet engineering projects.
Utilize 3D ing technology to create prototypes, replacement parts, and engineering solutions.
Assist with testing and evaluation of new designs and concepts.
Fleet Engineering Support
Assist engineering teams with equipment specifications and procurement activities.
Support the purchase, servicing, and lifecycle management of fleet assets.
Collaborate with transportation, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve design-related issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects and fleet modernization efforts.
Required Qualifications
Experience with SolidWorks CAD software.
Experience using SolidWorks PDM.
Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills.
Experience with 3D modeling and 3D ing.
Ability to create, modify, and maintain engineering drawings and documentation.
Strong attention to detail andanizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) or equivalent certification.
Familiarity with:
Fleet vehicles
Heavy equipment
Transportation assets
Mechanical systems
Experience developing equipment purchase specifications.
Fleet maintenance or fleet operations experience.
Background supporting engineering or transportationanizations.

Pay Details:
$41.44 per hour
