Understanding written and verbal instructions. Drafting technical drawings and blueprints. Implementing feedback from engineers and architects. Keeping up-to-date with CAD software. Explain technical aspects clearly. Interpreting project briefs and meeting with engineers, and architects to ensure all blueprints and technical drawings are completed to specifications. Producing rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints. Updating software, drawings, and other documents. Remaining professional when feedback is delivered, and implementing any changes to drafts as soon as possible. Ensuring drawings are compliant with building regulations and engineering principles. Communicating potential design issues to engineers and architects. Conducting research when required. Strong communication skills. Able to effectively read and interpret information. Able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently. Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality. Dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback. Ethical Practice. Professionalism, Customer Focus Handle Pressure Working conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. Physical requirements

• Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms, frequently stand, talk and hear. Travel None Position Type/Expected Hours This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demands Preferred Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED Associate's Degree in Drafting or similar. Additional courses in CAD software.
