Our experienced team of designers, project supervisors, and skilled crews take pride in creating beautiful, thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces and delivering exceptional projects from concept through completion. We are seeking a motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented Entry-Level Landscape Draftsperson to join our technical production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early career professional who is interested in developing hands-on expertise in landscape design-build construction documentation and working alongside experienced designers and project managers. Position Overview This is a full-time, 40 hour per week entry-level position supporting the technical production side of our design-build process, based in our Jacksonville design studio. You will work closely with senior designers, project managers, and other members of the design team to translate conceptual designs, sketches, and redlines into clear, accurate technical drawings and construction documentation. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with design and technical details, has a strong foundation in AutoCAD, and is eager to learn how landscape projects move from concept through construction. Core ResponsibilitiesDrafting & Construction Documentation Assist in preparing and formatting comprehensive construction documentation sets. Translate conceptual layouts, sketches, and redlines into accurate 2D plans, elevations, and sections. Make revisions and updates to drawings based on direction from senior designers and project managers. Help maintain consistent drawing standards, dimensions, annotations, and sheet layouts. AutoCAD & Technical Production Complete daily drafting tasks using current AutoCAD software and established studio workflows. Maintain organized CAD files, including proper layers, external references, blocks, and sheet layouts. Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date project drawing files throughout the design and construction process. Qualifications & Skills 0-2 years of professional drafting experience; internships or academic project experience in landscape architecture, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field are highly valued. Degree or certificate in Drafting/CAD Technology, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related technical field. Strong foundational proficiency with current AutoCAD software and the ability to navigate and maintain organized drawing files. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Revit, Lumion, or other design software is a plus but not required. Collaborative attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with designers, project managers, and other team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced studio environment and meet deadlines.
