In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and detailed computer-aided design (CAD) models and drawings that support the development of mechanical systems and product designs. Your expertise will help translate conceptual ideas into technical realities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects across various engineering disciplines, utilizing advanced CAD software tools to bring ideas to life with clarity and accuracy. Duties Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation. Assist in the design of site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, and utility networks. Work closely with engineers to refine designs based on calculations, environmental constraints, and local building codes. Incorporate topographical surveys, GIS data, and soil reports into active design files. Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards before they are sent for permits or construction. Foster collaboration within the Company, creating a supportive and high-performing environment. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring communication is professional, timely, and aligned with company values. Assist with specialized projects as requested. Promote a culture of stewardship, ensuring that time, resources, and relationships are managed wisely and in alignment with our purpose. Collaborate with leadership on resource planning, workload forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to proposals and business development, helping expand opportunities for the Administrative Division and the company as a whole. Qualifications Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design, or equivalent experience. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience with Revit or Bluebeam is preferred. A strong understanding of civil engineering principles (grading, earthwork, utility piping, etc.) Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills Commitment to living out DHM's purpose, core focus, and core values in every aspect of work. Pay:
