CAD Drafter - Hospitality Interiors (Part-Time / Temporary) Asmayda Furniture Group - 3.0 Miami, FL Job Details Part-time $25 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Hospitality Interior layout drawings Construction plans Attention to detail Organizational skills Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter with experience in interior design documentation to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis. We are looking for someone with strong AutoCAD skills who understands interior design drawings and can translate design concepts and provided information into accurate floor plans, elevations, furniture plans, finish plans, and other design documentation . The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on interior design or hospitality projects and be comfortable preparing professional drawing sets and presentation materials. Responsibilities Prepare and revise detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings Develop floor plans, furniture/FF&E plans, and finish plans Prepare detailed interior elevations for guest rooms and public areas Prepare enlarged plans for individual room types Assist with reflected ceiling plans (RCPs) and other interior design documentation Translate sketches, concepts, specifications, and design direction into accurate CAD drawings Assist with presentation boards, mood boards, and digital material/color boards Coordinate FF&E locations, dimensions, finishes, and other information within drawing sets Review drawings for accuracy and make revisions based on feedback Ensure drawings are properly organized, dimensioned, and ready for submission The hotel documentation requires scaled guest room and public-area layouts, furniture/FF&E tag plans, finish and ceiling plans, enlarged plans for each room type, and public and guest room elevations. Skills & Qualifications Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Previous experience preparing interior architectural drawings Strong understanding of floor plans, elevations, sections, dimensions, and construction drawings Familiarity with FF&E and interior finishes Experience with hospitality or hotel projects is preferred Ability to read architectural and construction drawings Experience preparing presentation or mood boards is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and complete revisions efficiently •
