Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Designer / 3D Scanning specialist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will leverage cutting-edge 3D scanning technologies and advanced CAD software to create precise, detailed models and schematics for a variety of construction, architectural, and engineering projects. Your expertise will drive the development of accurate building information models (BIM), construction details, and system designs, ensuring compliance with building codes and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of digital design and scanning technology, transforming real-world data into actionable digital assets that enhance project outcomes. Responsibilities Utilize 3D scanning equipment to capture accurate spatial data of physical structures and environments. Develop detailed 3D models using software such as Peel3D, Fusion360 translating scan data into usable CAD files. Create comprehensive construction detail documentation that aligns with project requirements and building code standards. Apply building information modeling (BIM) tools to coordinate design workflows across multidisciplinary teams. Draft schematics, technical drawings, and system designs for mechanical projects with precision and clarity. Conduct quality checks on CAD models for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications. Assist in graphic design tasks or 2D animations related to project presentations or client proposals when needed. Requirements Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Fusion360, SolidWorks or similar platforms. Strong proficiency in 3D modeling software including fusion360 Hands-on experience with laser scanning or other 3D scanning technologies for capturing physical environments. Knowledge of construction detail documentation and construction process workflows. Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately. Background in , engineering, interior design or related fields is preferred. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
