Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for medical imaging equipment components and systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate design concepts into comprehensive technical drawings.
• Ensure the accuracy and precision of drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date design documentation, including revisions and version control.
• Work efficiently to meet project timelines and deadlines, contributing to the timely completion of engineering projects.
• Provide clear and effective communication of design intent through drawings, facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Stay informed about industry trends, software updates, and new technologies relevant to drafting and design.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices.
• Adhere to quality standards and regulations applicable to medical equipment manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a draftsperson in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a focus on medical equipment being a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to medical equipment design.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
