The successful candidate will play a crucial role in translating engineering concepts into accurate and detailed technical drawings for the development of state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment. - Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for medical imaging equipment components and systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate design concepts into comprehensive technical drawings.
- Ensure the accuracy and precision of drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date design documentation, including revisions and version control.
- Work efficiently to meet project timelines and deadlines, contributing to the timely completion of engineering projects.
- Provide clear and effective communication of design intent through drawings, facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Stay informed about industry trends, software updates, and new technologies relevant to drafting and design.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices.
- Adhere to quality standards and regulations applicable to medical equipment manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a draftsperson in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a focus on medical equipment being a plus.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to medical equipment design.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
