09/16/2026 Job Description Job Description This is an opportunity to join a well-established commercial/residential roofing, siding, window, and sheet metal contractor that is located in Chicago's Northwest suburbs. Entry Level Core duties include : Prepare and manage AutoCAD shop drawings and construction details in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer requirements Collaborate with Project Managers to develop field solutions that meet manufacturer standards and maintain design intent when unexpected conditions arise Verify that all field installations conform to approved shop drawings Review and process incoming bid invitations and project documents received via email Prepare clear, concise scopes of work for each bid opportunity and distribute to the assigned Project Manager for review Establish and maintain organized project folders for all active and incoming projects Print and distribute project drawings and ensure all team members are working from the most current document revisions Monitor and download plan updates and addenda as they are issued to keep project files current

QUALIFICATIONS

-Proficiency with windows based operating system and Microsoft Office.

-Strong communication skills:

verbal and written.

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

-Familiarity w/ architectural drawings -AutoCad knowledge
