• Mission Technologies is seeking a Drafter to support our engineering and configuration management efforts in Crane, IN.

Our ideal applicant will have experience with high-quality drafting, SolidWorks modeling, and documentation control in a structured, fast-paced environment. This position will work onsite and requires a secret security clearance. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including job responsibilities, experience, performance, market conditions, internal equity, and location. LEVEL 2

• $76,331 Essential Job Responsibilities Develop, revise, and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.

Support configuration management activities including document control, revision tracking, and engineering change integration. Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements, CAD standards, and applicable industry specifications. Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to maintain design accuracy and proper documentation. Participate in configuration audits and maintain accurate records of engineering and design data. Maintain excellent quality standards in all drafting and documentation deliverables. Minimum Qualifications LEVEL 2

• Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 1 year of related experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years related experience. LEVEL 3
• Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related experience.

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks with advanced modeling and drawing skills. Solid understanding of configuration control, documentation standards, and CAD data management. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.

Clearance:

Active SECRET security clearance required. Preferred Requirements 10+ years of expereince Accredited SolidWorks Trainer Experience supporting DoD, defense, or government engineering environments Physical Requirements Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
