Responsible for the design, development, and documentation of mechanical components and assemblies. This role requires strong mathematical aptitude, proficiency in CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, and effective use of Microsoft Office tools to communicate and document engineering work.Job Duties:
Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCADApply mathematical principles including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to solve design problemsPerform tolerance analysis and calculationsPrepare engineering documentation such as drawings and bills of materials (BOMs)Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to ensure designs meet requirementsRevise and improve existing designs based on feedback, testing, or field performanceMaintain organized project files and documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookUsing LN MRP system to create and maintainBills of MaterialCreate Engineering Change Notices Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in a related field, or its equivalent in a combination of formal education and direct work experienceStrong mathematical skills with the ability to apply calculations to real-world engineering problemsProficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and assembliesWorking knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D layouts and legacy drawingsCompetency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for calculations and data analysis, and Word for documentationUnderstanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information. #inPRBenefits
