40.0 Responsibilities Create detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings using SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs). Ensure designs meet engineering standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing needs. Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and installation teams to support project execution. Review designs for accuracy and provide technical support during fabrication and installation. Assist with design reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvements. Mentor junior designers and support technical documentation development. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, drafting, or a manufacturing environment. Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software. Strong knowledge of mechanical assemblies, fabrication drawings, welding practices, and structural components. Experience creating detailed drawings and BOMs. Familiarity with AWS welding standards and industry codes preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field preferred.
