Maintenance Tech I Position Overview:

Recreation District #1 is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Tech I to perform routine maintenance work both inside and outside all district facilities and grounds. The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, and capable of operating and maintaining various types of equipment to ensure all facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repair work on buildings, equipment, and grounds. Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, hand tools, and other maintenance equipment. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across all Recreation District #1 properties. Assist with setup, breakdown, and general support for district events or activities. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly. Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of district facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various outdoor conditions. Ability to safely operate and maintain maintenance tools and equipment. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
