Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and update 2D and 3D CAD drawings, layouts and models using industry-standard software.
Interpret engineering sketches, technical specifications and survey data to produce accurate drawings.
Maintain and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, designers and project managers.
Coordinate drawing revisions, manage file versions and ensure proper documentation and archive of CAD files.
Produce drawing sets for fabrication, construction and manufacturing including detail, assembly and fabrication drawings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify design intent and resolve drawing-related issues.
Apply company CAD standards and best practices, ensuring consistent layer naming, dimensioning, tolerances and annotation.
Support project teams by providing CAD drafting assistance, preparing bill of materials and generating drawings for procurement.
Assist with 3D modeling, rendering and visualization as required to communicate designs to stakeholders.
Train and support junior drafters or CAD operators as needed and contribute to continual process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications2+ years working as a CAD Technician, CAD Drafter or CAD Operator with a portfolio of technical drawings.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with CAD applications; familiarity with Auto Cad and drafting standards.
Experience with 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks (Solid Works), Inventor and Revit; Civil 3D experience is a plus.
Hands-on experience with general CAD workflows: layering, dimensioning, tolerances, annotation and plotting.

$50,000 - $70,000 (Based on Experience)Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to produce accurate technical drawings and 3D models that support engineering, design, and construction teams.
