CAD Operator

Job Description Securityhunter, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter to provide CAD drafting support to the engineering team. This individual will work with members in the design, development and implementation of complex security initiatives. The position is located in Baltimore, MD.

Requirements:

Must be knowledgeable in AutoCAD. Must be proficient in developing engineering details. Must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities:

Analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare shop drawings. Revise shop drawings based on mark-ups by engineers to achieve total approval of the project. Prepare final record set of shop drawings based on approved mark-ups. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Prior experience with electronic security system design (CCTV systems, Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, etc.) is preferred but not required.
