Position Overview:

This position is responsible for creating and updating drawings including schematics, components, and assembles in both 2D and 3D systems. Position provides hands-on design support and expertise to Project Engineers and others in the company.

Required/Preferred Skills and Abilities:

Associate's degree or applicable experience, 3+ years desired 2D and 3D CAD experience, AutoCAD and SolidWorks preferred Proficiency in use of MS Office Suite Strong organization skills Strong written and verbal communication skills SolidWorks PDM experience a plus Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical system interaction and design

Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively within the engineering team to complete required project drawings on schedule Positively contribute to the engineering process and develop alternatives that allow the company to deliver consistently high-quality products and solutions to our customers Implement process improvements and standardization around product designs and platforms Willingness and drive to accept, plan, and complete special projects Ability to prioritize and flexibility to shift priorities as required Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
