Renovation By Design Join Our Team Renovation By Design is an award-winning residential design-build remodeling company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, interior renovations, and home additions. We are looking for an experienced Residential CAD Designer who is passionate about residential architecture and enjoys creating detailed construction drawings that bring exceptional remodeling projects to life. If you have strong Chief Architect experience and understand how homes are built—not just how they're drawn—we'd like to meet you. What You'll Do Create accurate construction drawings using Chief Architect. Develop plans for kitchen and bathroom remodels, whole-home renovations, and additions. Produce permit-ready and construction-ready drawing sets. Incorporate framing plans, structural notes, beam layouts, foundation details, and other construction information into drawings. Coordinate with our design, estimating, and production teams throughout the project. Revise plans as projects evolve and maintain drawing accuracy. Review field measurements and existing conditions. What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of residential architectural drafting or design experience. Proficiency with Chief Architect is required. Strong understanding of residential construction methods and structural framing. Experience preparing permit and construction documents. Ability to read and interpret engineering and structural information. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail. Why Renovation By Design?
