CAD Operator Build a Career in Design and Manufacturing Are you tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and looking for an opportunity to learn a specialized skill? We're seeking a CAD Operator to join our team and create computer-generated tooling designs used to produce everyday products such as cereal boxes, pizza boxes, retail displays, movie standees, and packaging materials. No prior CAD experience? No problem. We provide hands-on training and are looking for motivated individuals with strong computer skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with technology, solving problems, and turning concepts into real-world products. What You'll Do Create tooling designs using CAD software for a wide variety of cardboard and packaging products. Learn how to translate customer specifications and blueprints into accurate digital designs. Support production by ensuring tooling templates meet quality and manufacturing requirements. Process customer orders and maintain accurate records, including order entry, part numbers, and service requests. Track projects and communicate updates using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional accuracy. Collaborate with both office and production teams to ensure projects move smoothly from design to manufacturing. Troubleshoot design challenges and make adjustments as needed to meet customer requirements. Develop expertise in specialized CAD systems and manufacturing processes. What We're Looking For Strong computer skills and a high level of technical aptitude. Comfortable learning new software and systems quickly. Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Comfortable working with measurements, numbers, and technical information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 6 months of professional work experience. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Previous manufacturing, production, or office experience. Exposure to CAD software, drafting, blueprint reading, or technical drawings. Data entry, order processing, or customer service experience. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Familiarity with gaming, design software, or other computer-intensive applications that demonstrate strong navigation and technology skills. Why Join Our Team? $18.50/hr with weekly paychecks
