Opportunity:
Atlas Staffing has partnered with a great local company, and we are looking for a dependable Material Coordinator to join their team! Our client is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to support daily plant operations. This is a semi-entry-level opportunity where you will gain hands-on experience in material handling, shipping and receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. Training will be provided on equipment and procedures.
What You'll Be Doing:
Pull materials from inventory accurately and safely for customer orders. Package and prepare materials for shipment. Use tape measures and micrometers to verify materials. Pull materials for saw orders and deliver them to the appropriate location. Assist with shipping and receiving activities. Stock and organize incoming materials. Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory. Consolidate and relocate materials to maximize available warehouse space. Assist drivers with load preparation. Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as trained and authorized. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Identify and communicate any material quality issues. Provide backup support to saw operators and drivers when trained. What makes you a great fit: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong basic math skills. Ability to read and use a tape measure and micrometer. Valid driver's license. Able to perform moderate lifting and material handling. Willing and able to work overtime when needed. Previous plant, manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling experience is preferred but not required. Dependable, safety-minded, and ready to learn! Why work with our client?
