As a Mechanical Drafter/Designer you will design the equipment behind the food people eat every day Two Rivers Enterprises builds custom stainless steel equipment for food production and food service. Nothing off a shelf. Every project starts as a sketch, a photo, or a conversation with a customer, and someone has to turn that into drawings a fabricator can actually build from. That someone is you. As a Mechanical Drafter/Designer you will spend most of your day in CAD doing real detailing work: weldments, sheet metal layouts, assemblies, BOMs, and shop drawings that leave nothing to guess. Our welders and fabricators are a few steps away, so you get answers fast and see your drawings become real equipment in weeks. What you will do Create 2D and 3D CAD models and detail drawings for custom food production and food service equipment Turn sketches, photos, specs, and verbal direction into complete, buildable drawing packages Develop bills of materials, weldment details, and fabrication drawings Work directly with engineering and the shop floor to verify dimensions, materials, and fabrication feasibility Keep drawing files, revisions, and project documentation organized and current Make sure drawings meet industry standards, sanitary design expectations, and our internal quality requirements Support the estimating team with material takeoffs and technical input on quotes What you bring
