SolidWorks Drafter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks Draftsperson who can accurately recreate existing engineering and manufacturing drawings as fully defined 3D solid models and produce detailed production drawings.
Duties to include:
- Create accurate 3D solid models and assemblies in SolidWorks from 2D drawings, sketches, and specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings into fully defined 3D solid files.
- Create and modify parts, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Apply appropriate dimensions, tolerances, materials, and other required specifications.
- Review models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability.
- Make revisions based on engineering or manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain organized CAD files and follow company drafting standards.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and 3D CAD modeling.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to create SolidWorks part and assembly files from 2D drawings.
- Understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and basic manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience with sheet metal, machining, weldments, or other manufacturing processes is a plus. Why Join Us?

Compensation:
$22-26/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications. The base salary range for this role is $22-26 per hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. CDM considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
