At Elevation3D, we design, build, and deliver immersive brand experiences that bring ideas to life. As a full-service exhibit, event, and environment company, we specialize in creating custom trade show exhibits, experiential activations, and architectural installations for some of the most recognizable brands in the world.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CAD Detailer to join our engineering team. This role is critical in translating design concepts into precise technical drawings and 3D models used in the fabrication of trade show exhibits and custom environments. The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD skills, excellent spatial awareness, and a solid understanding of fabrication methods and trade show requirements.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Create accurate 3D solid models and detailed layouts from design renderings. Produce comprehensive shop drawings for custom cabinetry, exhibits, and environments. Generate parts files for CNC router programming and production. Develop scaled floorplans, electrical layouts, and rigging plans for show services. Create step-by-step setup drawings for on-site installation teams. Collaborate closely with fellow detailers to maintain department timelines and workflow efficiency. Participate in internal design reviews and quality control meetings. Assist with department standards, block library management, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed for project deadlines. Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable and proactive with a strong work ethic. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD 2020+, including 3D modeling with AutoCAD primitives and use of model/paper space. Skilled in Mastercam X9 or newer for generating parts files. Familiarity with beMatrix aluminum extrusion systems. Knowledge of trade show fabrication standards, production timelines, and utility drawing requirements.
