Position Overview:

Our client, a well-established custom metal fabrication manufacturer, is seeking a CAD Drafter to join their engineering and production team. This role is responsible for creating accurate detailed drawings and layouts for custom fabricated metal products using AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities Create and modify detailed CAD drawings for custom metal fabricated products using AutoCAD. Interpret customer specifications, sketches, and engineering requirements. Produce accurate manufacturing drawings, dimensions, and documentation. Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet customer expectations. Revise drawings as needed throughout the production process. Maintain organized drawing files and engineering documentation. Ensure drawings comply with company standards and quality requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other drafting-related projects as needed. QualificationsRequired High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience using CAD software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Associate's degree or technical degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, CAD, or a related field. Experience working within a manufacturing or custom metal fabrication environment. Familiarity with fabrication processes and manufacturing equipment.

Pay:

$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
