Job Description

Overview:
M&P Engineering and Land Surveying, PLLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business providing a full range of design, planning, and construction evaluation services. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will apply advanced CAD expertise to develop accurate technical drawings and design plans that support a variety of engineering and surveying projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and field teams to translate concepts into precise, high-quality deliverables. Responsibilities:
Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, Cyclone Products & MicroStation. Collaborate with engineers, designers and surveyors to develop accurate technical drawings and models Review and modify existing CAD drawings as necessary Maintain organized files and records of CAD designs and revisions Analyze surveys, reports, maps and other materials to identify best approach in developing and completing projects on time and within budget Research and review deeds, ordinances, field notes, municipal, state and federal codes to ensure compliance All other responsibilities as assigned
Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD, Carlson) Solid basic understanding of surveying principles and standards Ability to interpret technical drawings Experience with point clouds is a plus Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams If you are passionate about design, eager to contribute to innovative projects, and meet the qualifications outlined above, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a CAD Designer.
Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
