Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and 3D models that support construction and architectural projects. This role requires proficiency in CAD software, strong drafting skills, and the ability to produce construction detail documentation that complies with building codes. The CAD Drafter will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate representation of design concepts and specifications. Duties Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD or Chief Architect software to support architectural and construction projects Create comprehensive construction detail documentation, including plans, sections, and elevations Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant building codes and industry standards Utilize 3D modeling software to visualize design concepts and facilitate project planning Collaborate with project teams to interpret design requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings Review and revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring precision and clarity in all documentation Maintain organized digital files of all drafting work for easy access and updates Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD or Chief Architect software is essential Strong drafting skills with attention to detail and accuracy Experience with 3D modeling software for architectural or construction purposes Knowledge of construction detail documentation processes Familiarity with building codes and compliance standards Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines This position offers an engaging opportunity for a skilled CAD Drafter to contribute to innovative building projects within a collaborative environment.
