The Opportunity We are currently seeking an individual to work in our offices in Lake Oswego, primarily performing AutoCAD drafting and fire alarm system design. Fire alarm or security system knowledge is extremely helpful, but we will train the right individual. What You'll Do This is a varied position helping support and manage projects, requiring the ability to read and modify blueprints, perform simple calculations, interact with sales personnel and technicians, and assist co-workers with challenging design issues as you apply your increasing knowledge of life safety systems. There will be some opportunities to interact with fire marshals and Point Monitor's loyal client base, as well as participate in the project management and permitting process. • 1 years' experience in a professional office environment
• Experience working in a team setting with deadlines
• Experience reading and understanding construction documents is a plus.
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
• Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly with construction teams, end-user clients, coworkers and sometimes government agencies.
• Will create scaled two-dimension low voltage systems installation plans (primarily fire alarms) in AutoCAD LT.
• Previous experience designing, selling, installing, or servicing low voltage protective signaling systems could lead to additional opportunities within the company. Why You'll Love It Here
