This is an excellent opportunity for someone with AutoCAD experience who enjoys solving problems, collaborating with a production team, and seeing projects go from concept to installation. While experience in architectural millwork is a plus, we're willing to train someone with strong drafting skills and a willingness to learn.
What You'll Do:
As part of our engineering team, you will:- Create and revise shop drawings using AutoCAD
- Convert architectural plans into detailed, production-ready shop drawings
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, Engineering, and Production throughout each project
- Help solve design and manufacturing challenges for custom cabinetry and architectural millwork
- Support projects from design through fabrication
- Create bills of materials
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of AutoCAD experience in a professional setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microvellum or a willingness to learn
- Architectural millwork or cabinetry experience
- Manufacturing or woodworking background
