Job Description

Edgewood Made works with world renowned interior designers, and architects to create dynamic one of a kind contemporary wood and metal, millwork and furniture. We are seeking detail oriented Millwork Designer-Engineer with an understanding of cabinet design and critical thinking skills, who have a passion for working at a high level of quality.
Duties:
Working from client provided information use Cabinet Vision to complete the design/engineering drawings to be used for client approval Share drawings, receive feedback, and communicate issues/suggestion directly with clients. Source and understand project specific hardware Utilizing Cabinet Vision create build to shop book drawings Field questions from production team Create install specific drawings Hand off drawings to programer/operators or occasionally program and operate CNC from own drawings
Qualifications:
2-5 years of Cabinet Vision, Mozaik or woodworking experience in a shop that uses either program High level of attention to detail Experience with contemporary woodworking and cabinetry assembly techniques and machinery Ability to work in a hands-on environment that requires a talented individual with the ability to craft our products to a high standard in an appropriate timeline. Ability to problem solve, and work in a broad range of projects in an efficient way that conforms to standards Edgewood Made is a rapidly expanding company that works on a diverse variety of projects for discerning clients. Applicants should have a passion for learning and expanding their craft, a keen eye for detail, and good critical thinking skills. Working as a team is a crucial part of our success and we encourage all applicants to be able to communicate as a team, but also be able to work independently as needed. We are looking for individuals who are excited to grow with our company, and be a part of a tight knit team. Title and pay commensurate on experience.
