Muncy is a leader in the heavy lifting industry manufacturing lifting hardware for chain, wire rope and synthetic rope and webbing assemblies. We are seeking a highly motivated and well rounded Computer Aided Drafter to join the team; developing solutions for customers and assisting the production team with manufacturing support. Typical Duties / Job responsibilities Interface with customers to design and develop solutions in the heavy lifting industry. Determine costing and provide detailed descriptions and lead time through the sales department. Prepares solid modeling and drawings for production. Assigning reasonable manufacturing tolerances. Provide customer support (Phone and email) of existing products. Implement cost reduction by working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Management team members to reduce scrap/waste and downtime. Evaluate and improve process efficiency.
