CAD Designer | Northridge, CA | Full-timeRole OverviewWe are a growing custom cabinetry and woodworking business in Northridge, CA. We specialize in high-quality, made-to-order cabinetry for residential and commercial projects. We are expanding our team and looking for skilled, motivated professionals who take pride in their craft.

About the PositionWe are hiring a CAD Designer to produce accurate, production-ready cabinetry drawings and shop layouts using Cabinet Vision. You will work directly with the Owner and shop team to bring custom residential and commercial cabinetry projects from design to the shop floor. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Northridge facility.

What You Will DoCreate and revise cabinetry drawings, elevations, and shop layouts in Cabinet VisionProduce accurate, build-ready shop drawings from client measurements, floor plans, and project specificationsCollaborate with the Owner and shop personnel to ensure designs are production-ready before release to the floorIncorporate client and project feedback through revision cycles, maintaining clear version controlConduct or assist with field measurements at client sites as neededMaintain organized, version-controlled digital project filesWhat We Are Looking ForCabinet Vision experience is strongly preferred; candidates proficient in other CAD platforms (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) with the commitment to transition fully to Cabinet Vision will be consideredAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and written specificationsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in dimensions, clearances, and material calloutsUnderstanding of cabinetry construction methods and materials sufficient to produce buildable shop drawingsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet drawing deadlinesBackground or coursework in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is a plusSelf-motivated, organized, and able to work independentlyCompensation and ScheduleFull-time, on-site at our Northridge, CA facilityThis is an in-office position; remote work is not availableCompetitive pay based on experience; discussed during the interview
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 40.0 per week
