Minneapolis MN (This position is remote to start however, once an office is established locally the candidate will be expected to report to an office)

About the Role This position involves creating, revising, and completing detailed engineering drawings for parts, assemblies, and installations. The role focuses on various specializations such as structures, devices, mechanics, electrical, or electronics. The work is primarily conducted using computer-aided design tools like CAD, CAM, or CATIA. Responsibilities Complete details of major layout drawings prepared by others, following standard engineering drafting practices. Determine scaling, insert necessary reference planes, and add centering and dimension lines. Perform hidden line interpolations and sectioning. Prepare specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations. Develop complete production detail drawings. Contribute to design modifications to enhance product quality and facilitate manufacturing operations. Education Qualification High school diploma or equivalent. Required Skills Basic understanding of engineering drafting practices. Familiarity with computer-aided design tools such as CAD, CAM, or CATIA. Ability to follow specific instructions and complete routine tasks. Problem-solving skills for resolving routine issues with prescribed solutions. Effective communication skills for interacting with peers to obtain or provide information.
