Full Job Description Location:
Hybrid - Franklin, TN CME Corp. is looking for a CAD Operator & Sales Administrator to join its growing team. This hybrid role will produce accurate technical drawings and design documentation for healthcare facilities and medical environments while supporting the sales team with day-to-day administrative needs. The role works with Sales to translate customer requirements, medical equipment specifications, and project concepts into CAD drawings that meet healthcare design standards, regulatory requirements, operational needs, and project timelines. This person also provides general coordination and administrative support as team needs arise. CAD and Design Responsibilities Prepare and revise detailed CAD drawings, layouts, and construction documents for healthcare projects including clinics, hospitals, and specialty medical spaces. Assist with space planning, medical equipment layouts, and interior architectural details specific to healthcare environments. Support Sales throughout the design development and construction documentation phases, incorporating customer and project requirements into drawings. Ensure drawings reflect applicable healthcare codes, accessibility requirements, design standards, and safety regulations. Assist with material and/or equipment takeoffs as needed. Maintain drawing standards, layer management, and file organization in accordance with company and healthcare compliance requirements. Manage drawing revisions, version control, and document archives. Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to release. Sales Administration and Team Support Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team as needed. Assist with coordination and communication related to sales activities and customer projects. Help prepare and organize sales and project materials at the direction of the team. Support routine follow-up with internal teams and external partners to help keep work moving. Take on other administrative and operational support responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant healthcare design/CAD experience will also be considered. 2+ years of CAD/drafting experience, with experience supporting healthcare, medical facility, medical equipment, architectural, or healthcare construction projects strongly preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit required; experience with both is preferred. Working knowledge of healthcare design standards, medical equipment planning, healthcare facility requirements, and/or applicable accessibility and regulatory standards (ADA, Joint Commission, etc.). Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, floor plans, specifications, and medical equipment documentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and other internal teams. Experience supporting a sales team or coordinating administrative work is preferred. Ability to balance design assignments with changing team priorities and administrative requests. This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus in addition to base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, training, internal equity, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
