Weekly Job Summary A Dallas-area manufacturing company is seeking an Entry-Level CAD Operator / Drafter to join their design and manufacturing team. This position combines technical drafting, creativity, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will work with clients and internal teams to develop accurate designs and production drawings from the initial concept through the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities Create basic engineering drawings and production drawings using AutoCAD . Develop repeatable patterns and layouts based on project specifications. Work with clients and internal teams to develop accurate, production-ready designs. Make design revisions and ensure drawings meet specifications. Collaborate with engineers, account managers, and manufacturing personnel. Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines. Perform large-scale tracing and drawing, including hand-drawn marker work when needed. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the design and production process. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project requirements and changes. Follow company safety procedures when working in the manufacturing or warehouse environment. Requirements & Qualifications 1-3 years of CAD drafting experience preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD . Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately. Excellent time-management and organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with CorelDRAW . Experience with Microsoft Office. Experience in carpet, fabric, textile, or other manufacturing environments. Experience creating production patterns. Large-scale tracing or hand-drawn marker experience.
